Some people say that ESL learners pay too much attention to their grammar knowledge, so they are unable to speak English well. They think English grammar is not important for English speaking skill. In my opinion, it has something wrong, if we think English grammar is not necessary for speaking skill.
When we use English to communicate in speaking or writing, grammar is like the skeleton, and vocabulary is like the muscle, and the English language knowledge is like the whole body. We can not lack any of them. English grammar and the vocabulary together deliver the meaning of the English communication. If we want to improve our English skills, we do need all of these as the basic materials to build up the skills.

How to learn English Vocabulary fast and effectively?

English vocabulary carries the meaning of the communication using English in writing or speaking. As an ESL learner, we have to learn and practice using the vocabulary words so we can gain the sucsess in delivering our speech.
How do people learn and practice their vocabulary words?
It is very common that people learn the new words by writing them down as many times as they can remember the spelling of the words. But in my opinion, this is a not really good way because it takes us a lot of time and paper,:).
What do I do to learn and practice my English vocabulary?
I always do 3 steps to learn a new vocabulary word which I see when reading, watching movies with subtitles, listening to the news....etc.

1. I spell the as many times as I want that help me remember the order of all letters to make up this words.
2. Next, I may look it up in the dictionary, English - English Dictionary first, and billingual dictionary if needed. Or I can guess the meaning of the word from the context where I saw it.
3. And now I begin to practice using the word, by saying it in a sentence, or trying to write something and use this word in my writing.

These 3 steps are completely simple that everyone can do, but they are a lot of effective than the traditional way of learning English vocabulary you do.

Some people say that we don't need to know English grammar to speak English. In my opinion, it is only right in a few cases only. When we say something simple, and we may use one word to express it. But if the story is not that case, then it is not easy for others to understand us if we use the wrong English grammar.
Learning English speaking we also need to know at least basic grammar knowledge, then from that, we will slowly build up the structures which can help to improve the speaking skill and ability to express our ideas in proper English. English Grammar is such a skeleton, it, together with words, delivered the meaning of sentences, and the speech effectively.

Improve English Speaking Fast

English speaking skill is the most difficult for ESL learners. It takes a lot of time to practise in order to speak well.
There are many ways to learn English speaking, but to improve it fast, I think we should learn and practise it everyday.
Listening and repeating after audio CD, watch English Video online or offline and repeat what you hear is one of the ways which can help you improve your English speaking skill. Do it every day, at least 2 hours.

You can join in an English speaking club, either online or offline. When you join an English speaking club, try to make friends with people who are good at English, and may not be a native speaker but who have the same mother tongue as yours; it's more helpful I think, if you got stuck in some cases.

If you have money, then you can attend the English speaking classes. To gain more confident, I think the online English speaking classes will help. You hear your teacher, but you don't see him or her face to face, so it gives the confidence to feedback. That's what I think.
